Cookie Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar storage Sabi Events uses, and what they do. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between visits or pages. We also use your browser's local and session storage in a similar way.

2. What we use

Essential

These are needed for the site to work, and you cannot switch them off without breaking it.

Sign-in session cookie: keeps you signed in and proves to our servers who you are on each request. It is not readable by scripts on the page, and it lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out.
Security: small pieces of data that protect sign-in and payment steps from misuse.

Preferences

Theme: remembers whether you chose light, dark or your device's setting. It lasts one year.
Browser storage: remembers things like the organiser you are working as, the city you picked on the Discover page, and a short-lived copy of your name so pages load faster. You can clear it from your browser settings.

3. What we do not use

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics cookies. Our own visit counts for event pages are kept without cookies and without storing your IP address (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Cookies set by others

When you pay, you are taken to our payment provider's secure checkout page. It may set its own cookies, which are covered by its own policy. Embedded images and files from our storage and delivery providers may also involve standard technical requests to their servers.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, you will not be able to sign in, buy tickets or manage events. Changing the theme setting or clearing your browser storage resets your preferences.

6. Changes

If we start using new kinds of cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.
